Two law firms, one guiding principle

I lead two law firms in Bhutan: Basnet Attorneys & Law in Thimphu and Basnet Law Pte. Ltd., incorporated inside Gelephu Mindfulness City. With my team, I advise multinationals, investors, financial institutions and global law firms on foreign direct investment, corporate law, company formation and licensing, structuring and restructuring, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, banking and financial-services law, arbitration and representation, and the technology, digital-asset, AI and cloud sectors.

We have served clients from more than 30 countries, from emerging startups to multinational corporations and international law firms, pairing a close knowledge of Bhutan's regulatory environment with sound international commercial judgment.

The principle behind my firms is simple: practical, effective legal solutions grounded in careful analysis and a genuine understanding of Bhutan's business and regulatory realities.
